SERVICE IMPACT NOTICE – THURSDAY FEBRUARY 13 2025

Due to significant weather conditions, there may be some delays or limited services at our Centre on Thursday February 14, 2025. While we are doing our best to continue providing care, some services including: Main reception, primary health care, EarlyON, Breastfeeding support, Children and Youth Services and Art Drop-In may be temporarily affected. Regular service delivery will continue on Friday February 14, 2024. If you have any questions, please contact our main phone line (613) 722-4000.

Crisis and Intake

Intake Counsellor offers immediate help with personal crisis and support with food security, referrals and practical assistance. Access to our emergency food cupboard provided to those within our service area. Walk-in or by appointment. Walk-in hours:

📢 Important Update: Changes to Crisis Intake Walk-in Hours

Starting April 1st, 2024, there will be adjustments to the Crisis Intake walk-in hours at Carlington CHC. We want to keep you informed about these changes to ensure you have the support you need.

🕒 New Crisis Intake Walk-in Hours:

  • Monday: 1:00pm – 3:30pm
  • Tuesday: 1:00pm – 3:30pm
  • Wednesday: 1:00pm – 3:30pm
  • Friday: 1:00pm – 3:30pm

No Walk-in Hours on Thursdays

Counselling

Free and confidential bilingual counselling services for youth, adults, families and groups. Services address a wide variety of life challenges from a client-centered, strength-based perspective. Short-term counselling only.

Violence Against Women

Available to women who are experiencing or have experienced partner abuse. We operate from a feminist perspective, which includes empowerment, support, advocacy, while maintaining a nonjudgmental approach. Some of the topics explored in sessions are the cycle of violence, elements of power and control, warning signs, impacts of abuse on women and children, healthy relationships and many more.
