After Hours On Call Services

The After Hours On-Call Service is for sudden and unexpected illness that cannot wait until the next clinic day.
If you are a registered primary care client and require medical advice that cannot wait until the office is next open, telephone on-call services is available Monday to Friday until 8:00 p.m. and Weekends/Holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can access the service by calling 613-787-5551. When unavailable, call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000.

For urgent mental health concerns, call Ottawa Mental Health Mobile Crisis Line @1-866-996-0991 or 613-722-6914.

Lung Health Care

Primary healthcare providers can refer clients to this program who have chronic lung disease such as asthma and COPD. A registered respiratory therapist assesses and evaluated the clients and assists them in maintaining optimal lung health. By appointment only. Contact 613-722-2161.

Vaccinations are available by appointment only for registered clients of the Clinic as per the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and Ottawa Public Health guidelines. Seasonal flu shot clinics will operate for Centre clients according to Ottawa Public Health guidelines. Dates and times are posted when available.

Dental Screenings

Living Well With a Chronic Condition

A six week workshop series offered for Chronic Disease Self-Management and Chronic Pain Self-Management. Workshops are designed to help manage a chronic condition to live a healthy life.

Information and counselling on birth control options and oral contraception purchase programs provided by appointment only for registered clients of the medical clinic.

Nutrition Counselling

Individual nutrition counselling is available in the primary health care clinic.  Clients of the medical clinic can ask their health care provider for a referral.  Other clients who live in the Carlington catchment area may be able to access this services based on availability and reason for the request. Adults with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or at risk of diabetes, please contact the Community Diabetes Education Program of Ottawa at 613-238-3722 for free nutrition counselling.
